John Howard

Associate Pastor

Pastor John Howard is the associate pastor. He is a licensed local pastor. His attention focuses on caring ministries. Also, he is highly interested in missions and outreach and enjoys interacting in group Bible and book studies. He previously served as associate pastor at First UMC of Kearney and as pastor at Holt UMC and Turney UMC. Prior to entering the ministry, John was the Director of Facilities at the VA Medical Center in Kansas City. He was also in the U.S. Air Force serving in Southeast Asia, and 20 years later during Desert Storm.

John and wife Martha enjoy being with and watching their son and his wife experience the joys and challenges of raising two sons. And, they both enjoy meeting new people and growing new relationships while cherishing and nourishing long-term friendships.
